  • IP-based country detection via Cloudflare headers (no precise location)

Data we do NOT collect

  • We do not read your contacts, messages, or photos
  • We do not track your browsing outside of Pulse News 247
  • We do not sell your personal data to third parties

3. How We Use Your Data

  • Personalize your news feed based on reading history and preferences
  • Send breaking news alerts and daily digests (if opted in)
  • Calculate reading streaks and interest scores
  • Improve our summarization quality
  • Detect and prevent abuse
  • Comply with legal obligations

4. Content Summaries

Article summaries displayed in Pulse News 247 are generated automatically by our summarization technology. These summaries are clearly labeled with a "Summarized by Pulse" badge. Original article content belongs to the respective publishers. We do not claim ownership of publisher content.

We use the following third-party services:

  • Supabase — database and authentication (servers in US)
  • Sentry — crash reporting and error monitoring
  • Google AdMob — advertising for free users
  • RevenueCat — subscription management
  • Cloudflare — CDN and DDoS protection
  • Anthropic — article summarization technology
  • Expo — push notifications

Each service has its own privacy policy governing their use of your data.

6. Cookies

Our website uses essential cookies for functionality. We use Cloudflare analytics (privacy-focused, no personal data stored). Third-party advertising cookies are used only with your consent for EU users via our cookie consent banner.

7. Your Rights

Under GDPR, CCPA, and applicable privacy laws, you have the right to:

  • Rectification — correct inaccurate data
  • Deletion — request deletion of your account and all associated data

  • Account data is retained until you delete your account
  • Bookmarked articles are retained as long as you have an active account

9. Children's Privacy

Pulse News 247 is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. California Residents (CCPA)

California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, request its deletion, and opt out of its sale. We do not sell personal information. To make a request, email privacy@pulsenews247.com.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via in-app notification or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
